Challenge 1 - "On the Mark"
"All eleven players are taken to a remote city location.  As they near the destination for the first challenge, they see a tall crane rising into the air.  The players will be harnessed, towed up to the top of the crane, and released.  As the swing through the air, they must drop a heavy, colored beanbag on the target below, which they will reach at the end of their
swing.  The two players who hit furthest from the target's center, will be eliminated from the game."

How We Did It
This challenge tested the players' skills at setting aside their own opinions, and considering the views of the general public.  They were given a list of 8 questions, which were asked to 100 ordinary people.  They were also permitted to communicate with the other players to increase their chances of passing the challenge.  The two players that are the furthest off  from the actual total (under or over), will be eliminated.

Results
For the most part, the players were very accurate.
However, two players were far off from the center
of the target, and would later be eliminated.

- Karl came in first place, hitting 4 feet from the
  bulls-eye.
- 2nd was Julie D., only 5 feet off.
- Michael and Greg tied for third, with 6 feet each.
- 5th was Earl, who came a little over 6 feet.
- Andy finished 6th, about 10 feet off.
- Julie hit 11 feet off, landing her in 7th place.
- 8th place Tim managed to land his bag 12 feet off.
- Mike finished 9th, as he was a little over 12 feet.
- Robert finished 10th at 15 feet, and Maurice scored a less than passing 16 feet.  Both
  players were eliminated
Maurice's Final Words
"Hey people.  It's Maurice.  It sucks that I didn't get to know anyone of one, but I would love to talk out of the game.  Well, keep on smiling and you're going to win.  I am going to keep my eye out on you all.  Don't forget your toothbrush okay? lol.  See y'all later."
Robert's Final Words
"I did not expect a whole lot out of this game. My biggest mistake was not trusting more of the players.  Good luck to the rest of the players and I know who I'm voting for in the end."
Challenge 2 - "Don't Bite Down"
"In a dark, half-lit room, the remaining eight players are seated around a table.  They are each presented with a plate of cooked giant-sized worms.  The players will take turns eating as many of their 16 worms as they can stomach.  The two players who cannot finish, or are the slowest, will be eliminated from the game."

How We Did It
This challenge tested the players' skills at solving puzzles.  They were given access to a list of 16 word puzzles.  Each one they completed counted as a 'worm' eaten.  Each player was timed individually, in the case of a tie.  The two players that are finish the least amount of 'worms', will be eliminated.

Results
Only two players had the
'stomach' to complete all
16 puzzles.  Although it
took Earl and Greg nearly
an hour, they did take 1st
and 2nd place.  It only took
Julie D. 29 minutes to solve
14, and Andy came in
4th with 13 total worms.
Michael and Julie barely
made the cut, with 11 a
piece.  In the end, it was
Karl and Tim, who would
be eliminated.

Karl's Final Words
After I finished my task and started talking to everyone, I found out that they all did better to me so it was no surprise to me that I was eliminated. I had a lot of fun, even thought it was six days. I think I could've stayed longer if I just didn't be too fast on that challenge. I would've gotten more but I kept mispelling the answers and just quit a bit too early. Good luck to Andy :)
Tim's Final Words
"Wanted to say good job to the remaining five people and good luck on the next round.  Wish I was there."
Challenge 3 - "Don't Bite Down"
"As the sun sets over the horizon, the last remaining five players follow their host to a remote location.  They stop in front of the opening to a large tunnel.  The players will each take one turn, racing through the dark maze-like passage way, attempting to make it out the other end as fast as possible.  The slowest two players will be eliminated."

How We Did It
This challenge was designed to test both the players' navigational skills, and more
importantly, their knowledge and awareness of your former and current competitors.
The most deserving players are the ones that did their best to get to know their competitors.

Results
Julie D. was the first player to enter the dark tunnel entrance.  The players gathered on the other end and waited for her.   After just 4 minutes, she emerged from the maze, covered in muck, but with a smile on her face.

Michael decided he would go next.  After more than 4 minutes in the tunnels, the players were beginning to worry.  Finaly, with a shout of victory, Michael made it to the end, with a final time of 8 minutes.

Andy was next to go.  With the speed and determination he showed in the earlier challenges, the other players had much to fear.  However, after a few bad turns, and some points of slow movement, Andy finished with 11 minutes total.

Julie would be the 4th player to test her skill.  She knew that unless she beat Andy's time of 11 minutes, she would not be moving on.  However, in an amazing effort on her part, Julie clocked in at 6 minutes.  Andy would not be moving on.

Greg was the 5th and final player to attempt the maze.  Confident in his abilities, he would have to beat Michael's time of 8 minutes.  Greg later reported that he ran into a few trouble spots and was drastically slowed down.  His time was not good enough, 32 minutes.

Andy's Final Words
"Well, what can I say, it really really sucks to get eliminated by the challenge!!  I knew this was coming because the challenge went slower then I wanted it to due to an error on one of the pages that made me go back to my e-mail and open the website.  So, don't worry Greg, me and you were both eliminated by technology!!  I really wanted to win this game, but i am very happy with who made it to the final two!!  Congratulations to Julie D.  I know how much you wanted to hear good news about this and I knew you would make it here!!  TO Michael....congrats to you too!! You worked extremely hard to get where you are also!!  What can I say, everyone knew how badly I wanted this, but I guess it didnt work out.  I'm not angry at anyone because it is my own fault for getting eliminated.  Once again...GOOD LUCK TO THE FINAL TWO!! I'm glad I got to play this game, GREAT JOB STEVE!!  Hey!!!  4th out of 11 isnt all that bad!!  LOL!!!"

Andy :-) (with a smile like always)
